JVC has developed and used a reflective film to produce high performance for this revolutionary three layer structure. The outer layer Blu ray can be read with the light blue laser but is transparent to laser light to red light, which has access to internal double-layer DVD. The JVC units have 33.5 GB of total storage capacity with 8.5 GB is allocated to standard video content, 25 GB to store high definition content.
